Ready for some inspiration? Let's take a look at what the Design Team created using SVG diecuts. For detailed information and/or instructions, please click on their blog link.

Carolyn from GRANNY MA's CREATIVE BLOG created the two cards shown above.  She says that they are simple to make.  Here's the details: " I used pre-cut card stock to create the top Valentine Card .  I threaded the black and white polka dot ribbon through the heart diecut which is one of the Creative Pointe's VALENTINE HEARTS set files.  Two hearts joined together accent a corner.  I stamped the sentiment in black, and placed two small hearts below each end."  The second card was created as follows:  "I used  a heart svg from the Heart Freebies set from svgshop.com.  First I started with a card base of pink 5.5" x 11".  I placed black and white polka dot washi tape across the top section of the front of the card base.  Then placed a piece of white card stock just below the tape.  On the white card mat, I placed a black and white checkered ribbon and then foam taped the heart to approximately the center.  Stamped the sentiment in black ink..a quick card to send to family or friend."

Cindy from THE CREATIVE POINTE created a simple card that features the striking color combo of black and red.  "I love vintage images and thought this one would be perfect for a Valentine's Day card.  If you pop over to my blog, you can grab it to create your own romantic version."  She accented the photo with the SCROLLED HEART file from the "Valentine Hearts" set at the top and at the bottom, the LOVE HEADING file from the "Valentine" Set.

Shelissa from SHELISSA'S CRAFT STUDIO created the two cards shown above using elements from the VALENTINE HEARTS file. On the top card she used her machine's print and cut feature.  She also used her pen tool on the cards.

Octavia from T's CORNER FOR SCRAPPIN' used Cupid from the VALENTINE set and dressed him in embossing powder and Stickles.  The background paper is from the "Recollections With Love" pack. She punched all corners of the card with a Martha Stewart heart corner punch.  The white hearts are covered with glitter flocking and the bow/arrow were painted with a Krylon Silver paint pen.

Pam from MZLAVR2's CREATIONS again used a non-traditional Valentine's file and made it fit the theme.  The ladybug on the card is from the GARDEN FRIENDS--SET TWO  file.  The paper and twine are from a muse studio.

Victoria from PAPER SQUIRREL created her card using kraft cardstock.  She says:  "It's a bit of a challenge to make a Valentine's Day card masculine. I just love pink, red, and white used together, so I decided not to fight it. I used the pink and red and white, but grounded it all with an aqua blue "Love" from The Creative Pointe's VALENTINE SVG file set and a kraft base. I also used a fun technique to liven up the background. Visit my blog for all the details!"

Tina from TINA'S SCRAP CORNER created this card all full of hearts.  Tina said:  "I used the Creative Pointe’s FANCY HEARTS set (this is a really cute set) for the 2 red hearts that were the negative cuts of the cupid hearts. I also used one of the hearts with an arrow on the inside of the card too, you’ll see that over at my blog."

VALENTINE'S DAY--NOT A CARD

Prize for this challenge is a $5 Gift Certificate for SVG files

You'll find over 100 SVG files/sets available for all your paper crafting projects.
Winner will be randomly chosen from all submissions.

Ready for some inspiration? Let's take a look at what the Design Team created using SVG diecuts. For detailed information and/or instructions, please click on their blog link.

Cindy from THE CREATIVE POINTE created this pillow box using her FREE SVG file that you can get HERE.  An easy to cut and fold box, it's the perfect way to pass out Valentine treats!  The box is decorated with paper doily lace, baker's twine and a diecut heart and cupid.  The cupid file is from VALENTINE SET.  For more details, please click over to her blog.

Octavia from T's CORNER FOR SCRAPPIN' created a Valentine's Day coupon book with the cover and pages shown in the photos above.  She used cut files from the VALENTINE set on each page.  The coupons were diecut using Nestabilities and she used her Cricut pen for the lettering.  A priceless gift I know anyone would appreciate!

Pam from MZLAVR2's CREATIONS made this Valentine's mailbox with a pattern from SVGcuts.com and used the butterflies from the Creative Pointe's GARDEN FRIENDS--SET TWO to embellish it. The mailbox opens so you can retrieve your mail. Papers used are Recollections from Michael’s and DCWV card stock stock. Pam also used Color Box chalk ink in Charcoal.

Victoria from PAPER SQUIRREL  went a little "grungy" with this Valentine project. She says:  "There was so much ink involved, I actually snapped on the ol' latex gloves.  This heart locket is from The Creative Pointe's VALENTINE HEARTS SVG set.  Visit my blog, for all the details on creating a cool metallic surface from something as plain as a recycled cereal box."

Carolyn from GRANNY MA's CREATIVE BLOG created four projects.  First photo above shows glass etching using hearts that she joined together.  Says Carolyn:  "I was into creating candles this  year, and etched a double heart onto opposite corners."  Next photo is a Heart Shaped Hanging Heart for treats.  Carolyn used the double heart file from VALENTINE HEARTS on the front of this Heart Box and placed a pink button in the center of the large heart.  The pattern for the heart box is a design by © Julie Mascarenhas.  The next Heart shaped box (third photo) is...a little different.  "I thought it was going to be a square box with a heart closure but turned out to be something similar to the Heart Shaped Hanging Heart.  I cut out the Valentine shape, resizing each heart to layer. Once again I used the same file from The Creative Pointe" she said.  Now last but not least, is a Lollipop cover...a small covering in the shape of a heart with a heart shape on the front and back that can be included with Valentine cards for school Valentine parties or for your little ones.  Carolyn added a bit of adhesive to the paper around the lollipop and attached to the cover

Shelissa from SHELISSA'S CRAFT STUDIO created the four pillow boxes shown above for her son's class.  I'm sure the kids will love getting their Valentine's Day treats inside these.  Get the free Pillow Box SVG file HERE.

Tina from TINA'S SCRAP CORNER also created a cute pillow box.  She says:  "My first pillow box, got the svg from Images by Heather M and decorated the box with Creative Pointe’s FANCY HEARTS set (this is a really cute set). I used the border from the set to decorate the box. Added some glitter glue to the hearts and some twill to close it up. Now it’s ready to be filled with my hubby’s favorite candy."

Now it's your turn to show us your Valentine's Day (Not A Card) Projects!
